Please Help My Debt exists for the moment before advice: the moment when someone needs to say what's going on out loud, and be met with kindness rather than a script.

Most people put off dealing with debt not because they don't care, but because the first step feels like the hardest. The forms are long, the phone lines are cold, and it is hard to know who to trust. We built PHMD to be a human, UK-based front door: somewhere to tell your story once, to someone who listens, before being put in front of the right specialist.
We are an introducer. We listen, we take the details that matter, and, with your consent, we introduce you to a regulated debt specialist who can advise you. We are not a debt advice company and we never recommend a particular solution. Free, impartial advice is available from charities and government-backed services, and we tell everyone that, every time.
The specialists we work with are regulated firms whose advisers are qualified to look at a person's whole financial situation and explain the options that exist for them. Any advice you receive, and any decision you make, is between you and that firm.
Everyone you speak to at PHMD is part of our own team.

No script and no rush. The first job is to understand what's actually going on.
Shared only with the specialist you choose, only with your consent, and never sold.
We're an introducer, we say so, and we'll always point you to free advice as well.
