How it works

Three steps, and no pressure at any of them

We're an introducer. We don't give debt advice ourselves. Our job is to make the first step easy, then put you in front of the right people.

The PHMD team arranging an introduction

Step one: tell us what's going on

Request a callback, send a message, or answer a few quick questions online. A friendly member of our team gets in touch at a time that suits you. You don't need paperwork in front of you and you don't need to know what you're asking for.

Step two: we listen, properly

There is no script. We ask what's going on, what has arrived in the post, roughly what is owed and what is coming in. We take the details that matter and nothing we don't need. Everything you tell us is confidential.

Step three: we introduce you to a specialist

If you're happy to go further, and only then, we pass your details to a regulated debt specialist. They look at your whole situation and explain the options that genuinely exist for you. Any advice, and any decision about a debt solution, is between you and them.

What it costs

Speaking to us costs nothing. If we introduce you to a specialist firm we may receive a payment from that firm. That never changes what you are asked to pay and it never affects whether we introduce you; we will only ever do that with your consent.

What we won't do

  • We won't give you debt advice or tell you which solution to choose.
  • We won't pressure you, call repeatedly, or pass your details to anyone without your say so.
  • We won't pretend to be something we're not. We're an introducer, and we'll always say so.

Being upfront with you: Please Help My Debt is an introducer. We do not give debt advice or recommend debt solutions ourselves. Any advice comes from the regulated specialist we introduce you to, with your consent. Nothing on this page is advice about your own situation.
