How we collect, use and look after your personal information.

Who we are

Please Help My Debt (PHMD) is a trading style of FGAD Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17550546, registered office 98 Sandtrap Way, Little Hulton, Manchester, M38 9BX. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website or by email.

What we collect

When you request a callback or send a message we collect your name, phone number, email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your situation, including the answers you give to our short online questions.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To contact you about your enquiry (performance of steps you've asked us to take, and our legitimate interest in responding to you).
  • To introduce you to a regulated debt specialist, which we do only with your consent.
  • To keep records of enquiries and introductions for our own administration and to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

With your consent, we pass your details to the specialist firm we introduce you to, so they can contact you. At present that firm is Arkle Insolvency, a firm of licensed insolvency practitioners who give debt advice and arrange debt solutions. Arkle Insolvency is a separate data controller and will tell you how it uses your information in its own privacy notice. We use trusted service providers to host this website and handle enquiries; they act only on our instructions. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards to deal with any questions or complaints, after which they are securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, use the contact details on our contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
